Privacy Policy
Effective October 27, 2026
The short version.
- The free planner keeps your plan in your own browser. It never reaches us.
- The website uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand visits. Planner text is masked in Clarity.
- Pro and Time Audit store your plans and log in your account so they sync across devices.
- We never sell your data or use it for ads. You can export it or delete it at any time.
Who we are
Daymark Weekly Planner (“we”, “us”) is made and run by Quebec Mobile, a sole proprietorship in Quebec, Canada. We are responsible for the personal information described here.
This policy covers the website at daymarkweekly.app, the free planner at daymarkweekly.app/app, Daymark Weekly Planner Pro at pro.daymarkweekly.app and Daymark Time Audit at track.daymarkweekly.app (together, “the services”).
The person in charge of protecting personal information is the owner of Quebec Mobile. You can reach them at [email protected].
The free planner and the website
Your plan stays on your device
The free planner has no account. Your blocks, categories and templates are saved in your browser’s storage on your device. Backup files and calendar (.ics) files are made on your device and go wherever you save them. We never receive them. If you clear your browser’s data, your plan is gone unless you made a backup.
A downloaded copy of the planner runs on your computer with no analytics at all.
Analytics
On daymarkweekly.app, we use two analytics services to see how people find and use the site:
- Google Analytics records pages viewed, scrolling, outbound clicks, video plays and file downloads, with your approximate location, device and browser, and the site you came from.
- Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, such as clicks, taps, scrolling and mouse movement, to show heatmaps and replays of visits. Everything you type in the planner is masked before it leaves your browser, including blocks, categories, templates and dialogs, so Clarity never sees what your plan says.
Both set cookies or similar identifiers to recognise a returning browser, and both see your IP address. We don’t send them your name, email or anything from your plan. You can block them with your browser’s tracking protection or a content blocker, or with Google’s opt-out add-on. The planner works the same either way.
Hosting
The site is hosted by GitHub Pages, which receives your IP address and browser details when it delivers files, as any web server does, and may keep them in its logs. Its font is served from the site itself.
The Pro early-access list
If you join the early-access list on daymarkweekly.app/upgrade, we keep your email address, which form you used and when you joined. We use it only to email you when Pro opens and to send your founding code, never for anything else, and the list is stored with Convex. Clarity never sees what you type in the form. To be taken off the list, write to [email protected].
The Sunday reminder
If you ask the free planner for the Sunday reminder, we keep your email address, which note you used, when you signed up and your browser’s time zone, so the email arrives on Sunday where you are. We use it only to send that reminder, tips on planning your week and news about Daymark Weekly Planner Pro, and the list is stored with Convex. The emails are sent through an email-sending service, which receives your email address, where you signed up and your time zone. Your plan stays in your browser and is never sent with it. Every email has a link to unsubscribe in one click, or you can write to [email protected].
Pro and Time Audit
Pro and Time Audit need an account, because they save your data to it so it’s the same on every device. Here’s what that involves.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Account details: your email address and sign-in details. If you sign in with another account, such as Google, the basic profile it shares (usually your name and email). | To sign you in and contact you about your account and subscription. |
| Your plans and log: planned blocks, templates, categories, the time you log, notes, check-ins, reviews and settings. | This is the service: to store it, sync it across devices and show it back to you. |
| Subscription records: your Stripe customer and subscription ids, the plan, its status and dates. | To know whether you’re on Pro. We never see your card number. |
| AI requests, when AI is on: what the request carries, such as a sentence you type to log time, your category names, or a week’s blocks for its tips. Notes only if you turn on “Send notes to AI”. | To turn a sentence into logged time and to write tips and insights. |
| Reminders, if you allow notifications: a push address for your browser, your time zone and reminder times. | To send check-in reminders. |
| Usage counts, only if you turn them on: counts such as which screens you open. Never what you wrote. | To learn which features help. |
| Support emails you send us. | To answer you. |
Pro and Time Audit don’t use Google Analytics, Clarity or any other third-party analytics.
AI is on when you create an account. You can turn it off, or turn “Send notes to AI” and usage counts on or off, under What leaves your device in Time Audit’s settings. When you use the microphone to log time, your browser’s own speech service (Google in Chrome, Microsoft in Edge, Apple in Safari) turns your voice into text. We receive only the words, never the audio.
Who sees your data
We share personal information only with the providers who run parts of the services for us, and only what each needs:
| Provider | What it does | What it sees |
|---|---|---|
| Clerk (US) | Sign-in | Your email and sign-in details, never your plans |
| Convex (US) | Database and server | Your plans, log, settings and subscription records, the early-access list and the Sunday reminder list |
| An email-sending service (US) | Sends the Sunday reminder emails | The email address, sign-up note and time zone of people who asked for the reminder, never your plans |
| Cloudflare (global) | Hosts Pro and Time Audit | Your IP address and browser details |
| Stripe, through Link (US) | Sells Pro and takes payment | Your name, email, card and billing address, never your plans |
| Anthropic (US) | AI, only while AI is on | Only what each AI request carries. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic doesn’t train its models on it. |
| Your browser’s push service | Delivers reminders | The reminder text and your browser’s push address |
| Google (US) | Analytics on daymarkweekly.app | As described above |
| Microsoft (US) | Clarity on daymarkweekly.app | As described above |
| GitHub (US) | Hosts daymarkweekly.app | Your IP address and browser details |
About Link. Pro is sold through Stripe’s Managed Payments, which makes Link, a Stripe company, the seller of record. Link handles checkout, tax, receipts and payment support under its own privacy policy, and your card statement shows “LINK.COM*” followed by a short form of our name, such as “LINK.COM* DAYMARK”. Link and Stripe keep payment records as tax and financial law requires.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect someone’s safety, or to a successor if the business is sold or incorporated, who would have to keep this policy’s promises.
We never sell or rent personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or let anyone use your plans for their own purposes.
Where your data is processed
We’re in Canada, and most of our providers store and process data in the United States, where it is protected by their contracts with us but also subject to US law. For people in the European Union, the UK and Switzerland, transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions where a provider is certified, and otherwise on the standard contractual clauses in the provider’s data processing terms.
Legal bases
If you’re in the EU or the UK, we rely on these legal bases:
- Contract: your account, plans, log, sync, subscription and support.
- Consent: the early-access list, the Sunday reminder, AI features, notes sent to AI, reminders, usage counts and the microphone. You can withdraw consent at any time in settings.
- Legitimate interests: website analytics, security, and preventing abuse and fraud.
- Legal obligation: tax and accounting records.
In Canada, we rely on your consent, which you give by using the services as this policy describes, and which you can withdraw subject to legal and contractual limits.
How long we keep it
- Your account and everything in it: until you delete it. Delete my account in the Pro planner’s account menu, or Delete everything in Time Audit’s settings, cancels any Pro subscription, then deletes your plans, log, settings and account at once. Copies can remain in our providers’ backups for a short time, until those are overwritten.
- The early-access list: until Pro has opened and the founding offer has ended, then deleted; sooner if you ask to be taken off it.
- The Sunday reminder list: until you unsubscribe, then deleted.
- Stripe webhook records (ids, types and times only): 30 days.
- Payment records at Stripe and Link: as long as tax and financial law requires, usually 6 to 10 years.
- Support emails: up to 2 years after the conversation ends.
- Website analytics: Google Analytics keeps event data for up to 14 months. Clarity keeps recordings for about 30 days and heatmaps for up to 13 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to get a copy in a portable format, to delete it, or to withdraw a consent. You can do most of this yourself:
- Export: the Pro planner’s account menu saves a Backup file that the free planner opens, and Time Audit exports your log as a CSV file.
- Delete: Delete my account in the Pro planner’s account menu, or Delete everything in Time Audit’s settings.
- Correct: edit anything in the app, and your email in your account settings.
For anything else, write to [email protected]. We’ll answer within 30 days, and may need to confirm it’s really you first. There’s no charge.
If you’re in the EU or the UK, you can also object to processing based on legitimate interests and ask us to restrict processing. If you’re in a US state with a privacy law, such as California, you have the rights to know, delete, correct and opt out; we don’t sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there’s nothing to opt out of, and we won’t treat you differently for using your rights.
If you’re not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information if you live in Quebec, or your local data protection authority in the EU or the UK.
Security
Data travels encrypted (HTTPS) and is encrypted where our providers store it. Only you can read your account’s data through the app; every request is checked against your sign-in on the server. We look at an account’s data only when its owner asks for help, or when the law requires it. If a breach puts your personal information at risk, we’ll tell you and the authorities the law requires, as quickly as we can.
Children
The services aren’t meant for children. You must be at least 16 to create an account. If you think a child has given us personal information, write to us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change matters, such as a new kind of data or a new provider that sees your plans, we’ll tell account holders by email or in the app before it applies.
